Rebecca Sparks is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor from the United States. She graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a concentration in dance, and a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University.
As a clinician, she has worked in community mental health centers, school-based counseling programs, and various nonprofit organizations. Rebecca has experience working with a wide age range, spanning from adolescents to adults of all ages. She has an understanding of diverse problems including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and identity development.
With the client at the center of her work, Rebecca uses her calm demeanor, empathetic listening, and non-judgmental approach to create a therapeutic space that allows the client to bravely step into vulnerability in order to maximize their potential. Rebecca believes therapy helps develop a strong sense of self, gain a deeper perspective of one’s inner landscape, learn coping skills to manage stressors, and nurture new and existing relationships.
In her free time, you can find Rebecca on the dance floor, on her yoga mat, curled up reading a book, and traveling around the globe.
