Omer Malchi
Omer Malchi, M.S., NYS-Certified Teacher Omer Malchi is a dedicated Learning Support and Special Education Teacher with over 15 years of experience supporting students with diverse learning needs. After a decade of teaching in New York City, he has lived and worked in Israel, Nepal, Japan, Vietnam, and China. Omer has recently returned to Vietnam, where he offers tailored academic support services to help students achieve their full potential.
Omer holds a master’s degree in education, a New York State teaching certification for students with disabilities, and a Certificate in School Management and Leadership (CSML) from Harvard Business School Online. He specializes in creating tailored interventions and individualized education plans, implementing evidence-based instruction rooted in the science of reading.
Through his Academic Therapy Services, Omer offers:

Omer’s experience spans various educational settings, including his most recent role at Shanghai American School, where he enhanced support programs for students with learning differences and disabilities. He is particularly passionate about using evidence-based strategies to help struggling readers succeed. In addition to his professional expertise, Omer enjoys playing, watching, and coaching soccer. He also holds a 250-hour yoga teaching certificate, reflecting his commitment to physical and social-emotional well-being.
